Bathsheba pockets $150,000 Powerball prize

A Macomb County woman has been on cloud nine since she received news that a Powerball ticket she bought at the Greenfield Sunoco gas station, located at5074 Greenfield Road in Dearborn, has won her a $150,000 prize from the Michigan Lottery.

The lucky ticket holder is fifty-eight-year-old Bathsheba Johnson of St. Clair Shores, in southern Macomb County, Michigan. She matched four of the first five winning numbers, plus the Powerball (06-10-15-25-36 PB: 14) to a win $50,000 Powerball prize. However, since she had selected to play the Power Play option for an extra $1, her $50k winnings were multiplied three times to $150,000. When she visited Michigan Lottery headquarters in downtown Lansing on Friday, to claim her big prize, Bathsheba already had plans to settle a few outstanding bills and invest the reminder of her winnings.

Powerball tickets are available for purchase at approved Lottery retailers throughout the state of Michigan and online at MichiganLottery.com for $2 a ticket. A “Power Play” option that multiplies non-jackpot prizes, by up to ten times to a maximum of $2 million can be added to any Powerball ticket for an additional $1.
