The Michigan State Lottery is offering its evening Daily 3 game players an additional chance to win this August.
The promotion launched on Wednesday the first of August, 2018. Five white balls and one red ball are loaded into a separate raffle drum machine and a special “Double Draw” will be shown after the regular Daily 3 evening drawing.
If a white ball is drawn, it will be removed from the drum, set aside and no bonus draw will occur that night. However, when the red ball is drawn, the Lottery will conduct a bonus draw for a second set of winning numbers, giving players a second chance to win on the same ticket. Once the red ball has been drawn, all balls are loaded back into the raffle drum for the next Daily 3 evening drawing.
The Red Ball Double Draw promotion applies to Daily 3 evening drawings Monday through Saturday. Although the promotion will run for a limited time this August. During the promotion, the Lottery will, however, conduct at least eight Daily 3 evening drawings each week rather than seven.
With at least one extra drawing each week during the promotion, players will have even more chances to win. Best of all, the Red Ball Double Draw promotion is free for players.
Players have five ways to play the Daily 3 game:
- Straight
- Boxed
- Two-Way
- 1-Off
- Wheeled
Prize amounts vary based on the way a number is played, and on the order in which the winning numbers are drawn. Players may select a three-digit number or choose an easy pick play. There are two Daily 3 drawings a day, seven days a week, at 12:59 p.m. and 7:29 p.m.
Daily 3 wagers cost 50 cents or $1 a play. Daily 3 tickets may only be purchased in-store at official Michigan Lottery retailers across the state. With about 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers to play at, you are never too far away from a Daily 3 retailer. So, find a Daily 3 retailer close you to stand a chance of winning these great prizes.
