It may sound crazy, but a 28-year-old Wayne County woman once had a dream. In the dream, she had won $4 million playing a Mi Lottery scratch-off game. Four months later, her dream came true.
The 28-year-old woman, who chose to remain anonymous, told Michigan Lottery officials that after having her dream, she began playing $30 instant win scratch games.
Recently, she purchased a Michigan Lottery Millionaire’s Club game ticket and puff, she revealed a $4 million prize-winning symbol.
“When I scratched off the prize and saw ‘4MIL,’ I couldn’t stop shaking and crying,” she told the Michigan Lottery. “I called my friend right away and asked him to come double check the ticket for me.”
She purchased her lucky ticket at the Valero gas station located at 3801 West Vernor Highway in Detroit.
However, she opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment to the value of about $2.5 million.
This win couldn’t have come at a better time for her. “Winning this at my age is such an incredible opportunity for me and my family,” she told the Michigan Lottery. “I’m going to make good decisions so that I have this money for years to come.”
