To all patrons, we say Happy Independence Day, America! As patriotism fills the air and fireworks ignite the skies, the Michigan Lottery wishes to inform all of its patrons that its headquarters in Lansing and all Lottery regional offices located in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Livonia, Saginaw and Sterling Heights, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2018. This, in honor of Independence Day, also known as the Fourth of July, which marks the nation’s founding on the 4th of July, 1776.

Regular working hours will resume, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, and all pending drawings will recommence on Wednesday.

Bank claim centers that are affiliated with the Michigan Lottery may be open on Wednesday, but, they won’t be able to process winnings yet, because the Michigan Lottery offices will still be closed.

However, all Lottery offices will resume to normal hours on Thursday at 7:45 am. No matter how you commemorate the Fourth of July this year, please remember to always stay safe.
