A lucky player in Wayne County is the latest winner playing the Jumbo Jackpot Slots Fast Cash game from the Michigan Lottery. The prizewinner says he had a hard time keeping his cool when he found out he had won the $589,042 jackpot. The anonymous player purchased his winning ticket at Parts & Labor Bar at 17993 Allen Road in Melvindale.
While at the bar, the player said he played some Fast Cash games throughout the night and didn’t think he won anything but scanned his tickets to double-check. When scanning one of the tickets, he got a message to file a claim at Lottery headquarters, and once he rechecked the ticket, he saw the three “Jackpot” symbols.
The lucky winner recently made the trip to Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim his winnings, which he says he plans to invest and pay bills with. “You see people winning the Lottery, and you never think it will be you, so winning is a very surreal feeling,” he said.
