A fifty-year-old woman from Clinton Township in Macomb County, Michigan, United States beat the odds last week playing Double Bonus Cashword to win the $300,000 prize.
This lucky woman bought her winning ticket at Nick’s Party Store located at19070 Cass Avenue in Clinton Township, one of several retail outlets spread across the state of Michigan.
After she scratched the ticket and realized she had ten matching words, she wrote them all down on a piece of paper and checked the call letters box again to confirm if she had really won, that’s when she broke down in tears of joy.
She then visited the Michigan Lottery headquarters where she claimed her winnings. She intends to buy a new home for her self and family. To avoid the media attention that often surrounds such huge winnings, this lucky woman opted for her identity to be kept hidden.
