A Michigan lottery player has secured the largest Fantasy 5 jackpot in the state’s history. The winner, who purchased their ticket at Smoker’s Express in New Baltimore, matched all five numbers drawn on Wednesday, claiming a prize of $963,040.
The winning numbers for the June 26 drawing were 04-05-08-22-38. This jackpot surpasses the previous record of $924,880, which was won online on January 17, 2020.
Lottery officials are urging the latest winner to contact the Lottery’s Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to arrange an appointment to claim their prize. It’s important to note that Fantasy 5 tickets are valid for only one year from the drawing date. The game holds drawings every day at 7:29 p.m.
This win follows closely on the heels of a Wayne County man who won $6 million in the Michigan Lottery’s 500X Money Maker instant game earlier this week. Additionally, a mid-Michigan lottery club claimed an $842.4 million New Year’s Day jackpot on June 11.
