The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased her 777 Jackpot ticket at the McCormick gas station in Whitehall. Although she hadn’t played in a while, she followed an instinct to buy a ticket—and that moment changed her life.
“I scratched the ticket when I got home, and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I revealed a $500,000 prize!” she shared. “I showed the ticket to my husband to give him the good news.”
The player recently visited Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim her prize and plans to use the money to pay off her debt and boost her savings.
“Winning this prize will allow me to become debt free, and that is going to be a great feeling!” she said.
